Beware Of The “guru” Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing!!

This is a response from Jessica, who sent me and e-mail asking me about a product helping some one make $100K a month. I’m not here to bash any programs, just giving my opinion.

I’ve warned the people on my list about this “marketing practice” for  a long time in my emails, videos and blogs…

Many marketers in the “biz ops” are having trouble converting their programs. Period.

So, many of them (most unsuspecting and innocently) have turned to following certain “respected gurus” and it’s become very simple and easy for them to blast their list promoting ANY new launch of coaching programs, info product launches or “guru” school membership sites…

Just because they think, “This ‘BigName Guru’ is well respected to that means his product or service has to be good…”

And the problem is this:

Usually it’s a concept that is no longer as effective as it was when the “guru” used it… or it’s a concept that the “guru” NEVER even used him or herself in the real world… just heard about it at some “wanna be guru” seminar and decided to sell it as an affiliate… etc…

And it’s usually rehashed, expensive, and NOT connected to producing results in YOUR niche anyway…

But there go the sheep…

Paying and following these “gurus” who have only formed tight circles to resell you on their stuff over and over and over…

Five top gurus get together and decide to fleece each other’s flocks again and again…

I’ve warned people about this. I’ve NOT jumped on the band wagon of “guru” cults… as they are mainly trying to make money as easy as possible for the most margin WITHOUT having to build teams, or really support their people in making sure YOU succeed with their stuff…
It’s hit and run marketing and it’s in full swing right now… just be careful…

We focus on teaching you basic marketing skills and tactics that work and are simple for YOUR NICHE.

And then we focus ONLY in programs where we succeed more ONLY if YOU DO.

Anyway, here is a BIG EXAMPLE of what’s happening:

Charles Heflin is the owner and creator of SEO2020 which
you can check out here:

He teaches things you can use RIGHT NOW to grow ANY online business. It’s the quality, no BS stuff I like
to promote and give you access to…

But Charles just wrote a GREAT PIECE to a reply about the “NEWESET FAD” that is being fed to experienced, as well as inexperienced marketers TODAY, like, right now!

I’ve personally received more than 10 invites from 10 different “biz op” promoters about this seemingly great “thing” about a guy who is making over $100K per day online…
Yep… pretty compelling huh?

Well… check out the story behind the story before you go prancing in to spend BIG BUCKS on more “guru” garbage…

Here is Charle’s comment:

Hi Phil,

Arbitrage is the process of buying traffic at one price and then selling it to companies at a higher price. It has typically been done through sending traffic through Pay-Per-Click to offers which convert good enough to cover the cost plus a tidy profit.

Since 2006 … When Google started tweaking quality scores based on the landing pages (where clicks are sent) … the arbitrage game got tougher and tougher. $.10 clicks became $5 clicks and the trend remains the same today… We tested it and continue to do so. Now you have to create landing pages for untested products to keep quality scores high and you have to spend a good amount of money hunting diamonds in the rough. Once you find those diamonds then everyone else running arbitrage comes swooping in which cuts directly into your profit margin.

Now there are only a handful of promotions that work, it is very time consuming and more often than not, you’re losing money in the process.

In any case there a bunch of well known people that jumped on the promotion bandwagon for this deal. I have lost a ton of respect for a great number of people that I used to trust and respect because they have all shown their true morals by promoting this deal… They were offered handsome commissions to promote a system that is dying.

Why would someone supposedly making $100k (PER DAY) want to ruin their own system by selling it to people for $1600? … Why would well known and respected people promote this?

MONEY and ignorance… It’s a cash grab of phenomenal proportions. Many of the top marketers have never run arbitrage but because other well known people are promoting it… It must be good right? … Wrong.

I am keeping a list of all the “gurus” that are promoting this offer so I know who to trust VS whose morals are tainted toward profit rather then the well being of their followers.

We have a global training team that offers what people pay thousands  of dollars for free.

Our Team remains focused on teaching and promoting stuff that gets others paid, and where we make more money as you produce results for yourself…

Some people frown on the types of programs we promote…

LOL

We laugh…Because we’ve seen them promoting stuff that REALLY leads people to failure only to line their pockets…

We see others promoting stuff to newbies that THEY KNOW is not going to product the type of results the newbies are really seeking… and “they” teach them to build these things in ways that are COMPLETELY different to the way THEY used to get successful…

The question to ponder is this:

In this “deal” will I be using leverage to work FOR ME?

Or

Will I BE THE LEVERAGE working for someone else?

Think before you follow the Pied Pipers…
